Development of universal software interface for detection units in optical spectroscopy
Belica, Martin ; Pořízka, Pavel (referee) ; Žalud, Luděk (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with the design and implementation of universal user interface for detection devices used in Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy. The design and implementation are based on analysis of current state of instrumentation used in laser spectroscopy. The user interface should be able to work with high repetition frequency of measurement. Acquired spectra should be visualised to user and it is also necessary to save this data on hard drive. The resulting application must be universal. It means the application must support various types and vendors of detection devices.
Next Generation of Fedora MediaWriter
Gasta, Evžen ; Kolář, Dušan (referee) ; Regéciová, Dominika (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis is to create new version of tool Fedora Media Writer, used for creating bootable USB with operating system Fedora. Main purpose of this rework is support of native look on operating systems Windows and MacOS. New version of framework Qt is able to do that. The result is new look of aplication with other upgrades. Benefit of this bachelor thesis is actualization open source aplication, about which was community interested in. Final aplication allow to use Fedora Media Writer with native design on different operating systems.
Visualization and interpretation of data in social networks
Jirák, Jakub ; Burget, Radim (referee) ; Atassi, Hicham (advisor)
Bachelors thesis examines the acquisition and interpretation of data from social network Facebook. In this thesis is used Qt development environment used Qt version 5.4.1 in combination with javascript. This software application is designed for operating system Windows. In the created application is used javascript in combination with QML. Javascript caters to visualize contacts and relations between them, while QML cares about the structure of the program itself.
Game in OpenGL
Hranáč, Pavel ; Milet, Tomáš (referee) ; Starka, Tomáš (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to create a custom game with an AI opponent. The theoretical part of the thesis deals mainly with artificial intelligence in games in general. The game's graphics are three-dimensional and use the OpenGL API and the GPUEngine graphics library. The created game is a turn-based strategy game similar to chess, offering computer opponents of various difficulties using a custom modification of the Minimax strategy with a complex heuristic. The game also offers local multiplayer. The results of this thesis can serve as inspiration or a basis for the study of artificial intelligence in games.
Ghost Stories Board Game GUI
Sládek, Tomáš ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Kubát, David (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis describes the design and implementation of a PC version of a cooperative board game called Ghost Stories. The resulting application allows for both local and online playing. The text of this thesis details the chosen game and its rules, design and implementation of the application itself, testing and the evaluation of results. The output of this thesis is an application divided into server and client parts, written in C++ using the Qt 4.8 framework and its featured QML language for GUI creation.
Whiteboarding Based on KDE Telepathy
Láznička, Stanislav ; Jurzykowski, Michal (referee) ; Mlích, Jozef (advisor)
This thesis contains many useful information about an implementation of a communication client Makneto++ which is based on the Telepathy interface. Certain parts of KDE Telepathy code were used in advantage to this implementation (KDE Telepathy code is spread under GNU LGPL). This client is capable of transmitting text and of sharing a whiteboard between 2 users using the Internet connection. In this thesis, you can read about the implementation of such a client with the Telepathy and Qt frameworks using the C++ programming language. The client uses the D-Bus system as well.
